Below are the options for Non-Profit Organizations to support KOBC by advertising on our station.
Paid PSA
A Paid PSA is a 30 or 60 second produced radio spot that generally advertises an event being held by a non-profit group. This could be a concert, a conference, etc...
The spot will be produced at KOBC, unless the client already has a produced spot, in which case the spot would be reviewed by KOBC before airing it. KOBC does not charge a production fee.
The spot will air on a rotation basis throughout the day, between the hours of 6 am and 7 pm. The number of spots purchased in relation to the number of days agreed upon will determine the number of times the spot will run on any given day. (Example: If the client buys 40 spots and wants to run the spots for 10 days, the spot would air 4 times a day for 10 days.)
Pricing
As of July 1st, 2006, the cost of running a Paid PSA on KOBC is $14.00 per spot. This is based on an average of the cost of each day-part in KOBC's broadcast day.
20/20 Plan
KOBC offers an advertising bonus plan for churches and other non-profit oraganizations called the 20/20 plan. If the client buys at least 20 spots, KOBC will include an extra 20 spots at no charge (Bonus Spots). The following is a price scale based on the 20/20 plan:
20 Spots x $14.00 = $280.00 + 20 Bonus Spots** = 40 spots for $280.00
30 Spots x $14.00 = $420.00 + 20 Bonus Spots** = 50 spots for $420.00
40 Spots x $14.00 = $560.00 + 20 Bonus Spots** = 60 spots for $560.00
** The Bonus Spots can air at any time between the hours of 6 am and Midnight.
